If Plants Could Talk

If Plants Could Talk Written by Brett Somers On 4-20-2016
Oh Sun, thank you one. Treat me soil thy toil my oil. Eat me critters. Nibble on my under leaf. That tickles when you hold me so. Wind blow stronger, I can withstand you. What a community are we, With so much vivacity. Oh humans, read a sonnet to me. Pluck my fruit and shade your loins. Feel my power, my strength. It will be in you soon to share, This energy beyond compare. Look at my beauty so faire. Dwell on my soft petals. Enchant thee in my wet meadows. Hold me closely as you pluck me neatly. Smell each note as you greet me. My fragrance flows past your nose, And to all that knows. Let this cup of dew renew, The very essence within you. My soft velvety curves, Enchant you. I bow to thee, My eternal beauty. From this fertile soil, I have risen to the heavens, For you to devour me.

Thanks. That's a huge compliment coming from such an accomplished poet Broken Wings. I having a longing for nature. Perhaps CR will touch my senses. NYC is great but it could use a nature boost.
