If Only I Could

If only I could go back in time.
Back to 2018,
when you were still there,
still by my side.

I would help you love yourself,
Be your reason to live when you can’t find another,
Hold up your sky when it starts to fall,
I would be the older brother you never had.

But I can’t.
You're gone now,
never to return.

I accepted that fact long ago!
So why must it still hurt so damn much,
Whenever I think about you,
It’s like my soul is being torn apart.

Goodbye,
my karma is forever bound to yours.
We’ll meet again,
In a different life,
A different time.
