If Only I Could

I’ll flip the pages of my life back as child.
Back to the days that slipped through my fingers,
Like sand beneath forsaking my feet by the waves.

Open the magical doors of my tree Castle .
Back to the days of dancing with princes in dreams,
Colourful and musical like coronation of those days.

Crawling out of the tunnel of yesterdays.
Back to the days of hideout adventures and hunts,
Camouflaged like chameleon on trees and under leaves.

Grab, wrap and grasp on to my pillar of my past.
Back to the days her smile shone brighter than thousand stars,
Transforming the tears to showers of blessings.

Only if I could pull back, those heartily days, just one day.
Back to the days when your eyes of hopes of tomorrow
Designing and building bridges where cracks appeared.
