If It's Not the Truth It Must Be Lie

WHAT'S WITH ALL THE HATRED? 
I HAVE TO WONDER WHY
WHY DO POLITICIANS 
ALWAYS HAVE TO LIE?

I UNDERSTAND OUR SOVEREIGNTY
I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE LIES
IT ALWAYS LEADS TO ONE MORE QUESTION
THAT QUESTION IS ALWAYS WHY

WHAT'S WITH ALL THE SECRECY?
WHAT IS THERE TO HIDE?
DID THE PRESIDENT REALLY SELL US OUT?
OR IS THAT ANOTHER LIE?

WHY IS WAR IMPORTANT?
IT ONLY MAKES ME CRY
SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS MY FRIEND
SOUNDS LIKE ANOTHER LIE

WE'RE ENCOURAGED TO KEEP THE COUNTRY MOVING
NOW OUR TAX IS HIGHER
YOUR MANIPULATED BY SYSTEM
TO BELIEVE THAT I'M THE LIAR
