If It Was Really Meant To Be

You say you put your trust in me
Why am I not treated that way?
you act as if Im cheating
when you are the one that’s deceiving
of a mischievous heart

When I turn my back
you go off and cheat
if I was to do you the same
How would you feel?
you might not even care
If It Was Really Meant to Be

Why am I treated the way I am?
you sat and talked to me for hours
more time I just a waist in my lifetime
wondering will true love ever finds’ me
if it doesn’t, I’m not alone
If It Was Really Meant to Be

As I can see with my eyes
you let others walk in between us
let them take what we have
love is wrong,
love is cheat,
all that is left
Can my feelings take the heat?
If It Was Really Meant to Be
