If I Were a Gal

If I were a gal and the world my oyster
All the macho men I'd gladly cloister
Give me a man who will hold my purse
Write me poetry verse by verse
A sensitive man with a gentle soul
Who knows all the words to Rock & Roll
Who helps with the kids and then does the dishes
Who caters to my every whim and all wishes
Give me a man with no alcohol thirst
Who know in his heart family always comes first
Who right from the start has no eyes for another
And maybe, just maybe, gets along with my mother
Yes, if I were a gal, I wouldn't change much
If I had a guy with a gentleman's touch
There wouldn't be anything else I would need
If I were a gal indeed

An excellent entry for the contest. Loved every cotton pickin word. It's so true, that's the kind of man we all want but it seems when we get him we don't seem to realize it. Great job here. God Bless and thanks for the kind words about My First Car. It's a true story. JB

wonderful! i love the rhymes you've chosen ("oyster" and "cloister" is a gem!) and the examples you've given.
