If I Was God

If I was God
I'd be angry with the world
I'd be angry with Christians
Why haven't you created a better world

I told how to overcome the world's problems
first go out into the world
and become fishers of men
then they were to teach them

That I your God created the world
I created the world
and expect ten percent
of the worlds profit

to be paid to me
you owe me a tithe not the Church
on land I created
ten percent of your wage

belonged to me
yet the church
spends it on themselves
that was my money

I told you what
to do with my money
The parable of the talents
told you to invest my money

Invest to make
five times more
that was my money.
In the fifteenth century

Catholic Priests became corrupt
not all of them don't
blame all of the people
for the acts of some people

Granted I am still proud
of a lot of my people
it doesn't matter what
you call yourself

Christian muslin Jewish
I created all of you
but killing each other
honestly

I came down and wrote
the ten commandments
Did you not think
it applied to you

If you had invested my money
for the last two thousand years
you would have created
companies through out the world

Fair enough other people
are also allowed to build companies
but creating employment overcomes poverty
When Jewish people collected the tithe

Their religion was their government
the money, people pay in tax
was the same, as them collecting a tithe
investing in jobs creates wealth

The profits from the industries
would have allowed you to accumulate wealth
It takes money to look after people
you were supposed to treat people

like the good Samaritan
if a man needed your help
you paid to help him heal
you supported him when he was down

but not forever
once he was well
you could give him a job
because if you invested my money

you would be wealthy
enough to look after people
Instead, you fought with each other
you killed each other

You took money
off people that couldn't afford it
and you spent it on yourself
That was my money Gods money

Then you expect me
to bow down
and provide for every dream
I'm not your puppet

If you won't fix your problem
Why should I
I warned you about Armageddon
you are at a crossroads

Keep destroying the planet
that I created and you destroy yourself
don't blame me for your mistakes
I told you how to overcome

your problems
Don't blame me for your behaviour
If I was God I would be angry but I'm not God
I'm just me

Think you just hit the Nail on the Head Bernard. Is not the Church by its very own definition Immorality personified. Preying on the congregation in the pursuit of power and wealth. Self acclaimed and anointed keepers of the Faith. DO AS I SAY NOT AS I DO.

The Bible is Sound. The 10 commandment are the foundation stones of a happy life. Religion unfortunately is run by Megalomaniac Men who do more harm to God than good switch people off rather than on like you said

Yes but if they really, followed the bible, they could really help, the entire human race. Ministers the Pope, all religions have one thing in common. human beings are sometimes greedy and corrupt, the bible in proverbs, try's to teach them but they don't always, want to listen.
