If I Invite You
If I invite you to come and join me
on a merry-go-round,past this sky's blue,
will you join me to find that childhood key,
if I invite you?
Our unicorn dream to touch rainbow's hue
again on dragon's back to be carefree
on that wingless horse a journey long due
our childhood merry-go-round,come join me!
Somewhere must be there, the days once we knew
beyond this mundane life come and let us see,
if I invite you!

The ROUNDEL is a deritave of rondeau and rondine... It has eleven lines constructed from two quatrains, and a triplet.
The rhyme scheme only has two rhymes and a refrain from the first phrase of first line, thus, the second line rhymes with the refrain:.. a. b. a.B . b. a. b . a. b. a. B..
