If I Could Be Your President
If I could be your President,
certain things would change!
Since no one really knows me,
I suppose you think that's strange!
Folks might think I'm crazy!
But soon, they're gonna see!
That, once I make my changes known,
I know they'll vote for me!
First, I'll make a money change!
Which, I think will be real neat.
I'll make the "nickel" our smallest coin,
and the "penny" - obsolete!
Prices for gas, will be rounded off!
As they used to be , before.
So, when I'm elected, rest assured,
9/10's, will be no more!
I'll add a new rule in baseball,
to speed up the game, perhaps!
I'll make it illegal for batters to spit,
or to keep adjusting their straps!
Spitting's not only, disgusting and gross,
but, unnecessary, vulgar, and crude!
Not to mention, a real bad example,
for youngsters, by whom, it is viewed!
Basketball players, must change their ways.
Showboating, will be no more!
Dunking the ball or grabbing the rim,
will deduct two points from the score!
I'll change the rules about Smoking!
No smoking "inside" or "out"!
You can only smoke under water!
It'll make Smoking much harder, no doubt!
These are a few small examples,
of some changes that need to be!
But, if you want to see it happen,
then you better vote for me!
