If I Am Not There
If I am not there…
If I am not there, who will be touching?
Touching the sunset, when no one is watching.
If I am not there, who will be trying?
Drunken with raindrops, laughing and crying
If I am not there, who will be Feeling?
Feeling the breeze when loving and stealing.
If I am not there, who will be seeing?
Watching the roses with their power of healing
If I am not there, who will be dancing?
Into the clouds when they are advancing.
If I am not there, who will be telling?
Telling the stories of what autumn is selling.
If I am not there, who will be playing?
Playing with sunshine so shadows are staying
If I am not there, who will be flying?
Into the sunset, living or dying.
