A sad day for Ceaser when he was assassinated by his senators - 'et tu Brute - the 15th March. Beware the Ides of March - Shakespeare's play. I loved this Senryu. Blessings Jennifer.

Said in a nutshell...very ably written, Richard. You have taken me back to my College days; this was one of the Shakespearean plays which I had to study. How time flies!! Regards // paul

Thanks Paul, always had a special meaning for me too. The days of taking photos with a cheap camera and Kodacolor VR 400 come to mind. -Richard

Total Recall of Shakespeare. Brilliance in the smallest of packages! May the Ides be with you only in the best of ways. Have a great March my friend.

In the year 7510 If God's a coming, He oughta make it by then Maybe He'll look around Himself and say Guess it's time for the judgment day~~~~~ In the year 8510 God is gonna shake His mighty head He'll either say I'm pleased where man has been Or tear it down, and start again. My favorite Shakespeare play, by the way, including that awesome funeral speech. (Charleton Heston's version, if you've never checked it out). Thanks! :) gw

Thank you Gershon, one of my favorite actors, though I don't recall this film. "The evil that men do lives after them; The good is oft interred with their bones." -Julius Caesar, Act 3 Scene 2.

Well penned Richard - love watching any TV series with Caesar. The Ides of March (15th) about 400 BC, Julius Caesar was brutally murdered By Brutus and others - "et tu Brute" said Caesar. Because of his assassination on this important day Caesar was and is remembered, as a Martyr. Bravo a great write. Blessings, Jennifer.
