I'd Go Blind

Faint sounds of a fiddle filter in over the hills
where the sun had awaken
batting her beautiful jade eyes
for the world to see
but it felt like it was only meant for me

I could get used to the heat
and the coyness
when she hides behind the moon

I'd swoon with anticipation
when clouds do drift away

staring into the mystery of a tomorrow
even this blind mouse
would dare to look away

I've heard about things that can make you go blind. A good swim helps...deep dive.

Water, the sustenance of life. I wouldn't mind the wetness.
