Id 2020-I Think Not
Across these plains and past our homes.
Bricks, mortar, sticks and stones.
New awaits and old departs.
Frustration, loneliness and broken hearts.
The peace and quiet and comfort keep.
We’re stuck inside and left to sleep.
The rich and powerful they plot some more.
Carma waits to even the score.
Fauci and Gates, vaccines they quote.
Even now their pockets bloat.
World wide and forced to take.
Come to my door for heaven’s sake.
No chip in my arm or tattoo dot.
Pride and patience, is what I’ve got.
Don’t force your thoughts, we have freedom and rights.
A boot in your butt will bring new heights.
