Icarus Falling
She held her aspirations high
So high, the crowds would jeer
'Icarus, don't fly so high, you'll fall, you'll fall my dear'
So she dropped, and dropped, and dropped
She had heard the stories of girls like her
The way they'd be cut down, or left out, or forgotten
So she flew low, to touch the sea, but
She never had heard
what happened to the Icarus
That had the salt water air
Errod his wings
He fell too
and so did
she
