I Would If I Could

No one understands
how much all
of these feelings
ravaging my life
make me feel.
I can't explain it
or how much pain,
loneliness and confusion
it caused made
me feel at times.
It made me mute.
I can't tell it,
even if I could.
It seems to paralyze me,
made me weary.
My mouth cannot tell it,
for my heart hurts.
It can't be explained,
I would if I could.
I can only keep quiet,
hoping it will pass away.
I am amazed and perplexed
at the impact of that force
on my own spirit.
In my imperfections,
truth manifested.
In weakness,
his strength,
again,
made perfect.
Within my silence,
I found wisdom.
In my bondage,
i discovered freedom.
It is a lesson learned in life.
