I won't kiss you

I won’t kiss you I’ll just long for your touch But won’t miss There’s a place in me That’s still waiting to feel what it’s like When skin meets skin It’s an ugly feeling To wonder what it would be like to kiss To feel the corner of your lips align with mine A promise without words A secret without shadows The need settles in my gut Something not *yet* mine— Or maybe never was. No I don’t miss your touch But I do miss The way you used to say my name Like it belonged to you
