I wonder if the birds catch cold

"I wonder if the birds catch cold? Bet they never do! Bet their mamas never scold 'N' say, 'You'll get the flu.' The birds go swimmin' when they please-- 'Specially in the spring-- But I never heard one sneeze Or be too hoarse to sing. I can't go swimmin' in the spring, Mom says it's absurd For me to think of such a thing... I wish I was a bird!" (Grandmother Joy, March 1936) My response: Oh grandma, that's much too cute to correct any facts Okay, so there's "bird flu" so what Michelle, relax
