I Woke Up
I woke up again today
Through the curtain I see the light
Can tell the day will be bright
God decided I could have another day
I've been sick for a long time
Been down and out
Have had many doubts
I have few days left that are mine
It would be easy to drown in sorrow
But yet
I have few regrets
I still look forward to tomorrow
God, let me taste the minutes left to me
This disease has been quite savage
And my body is ravaged
Soon my soul will be free
Faith promises I will move on
Soon I'll walk the streets of glory
Tell the little ones of my story
Remember me and I'll never be gone
I miss you Mom! <3
