Who is this God you worship Isis
That keeps the whole world in crisis
Spending your days raping and killing
All nationalities blood in the street spilling

I wish you knew the God I know
There is no other God that loves us so
He loves every tribe, language, people and nation
Don't harden your heart, He frees us from damnation

You have to know deep in your heart
Hatred anger escalates once you start
Maybe you feel your cause is noble
Taking your anger and killing global

How can you serve a God who would have you commit suicide
Murder women and children, the night filled with their cries
My God sent His Son to die for me and others
His only wish is we worship Him and serve Him as brothers

I really wish you knew my Lord
He would not expect you to fall upon the sword
He knows we all have shame
He let His Son take the blame

He did that to give us eternal life
A free gift through Jesus strife
He died in our place because of our sins
To give us life on earth more abundantly
Then eternal life will begin

Whether you are Christian, Muslim, atheist, Jew
A still small voice inside whispers words that are true
It is evil to kill people with whom you don't agree
It is their right to worship or not as they believe

I wish you knew the God I know
There is no other God who would love you so
He loves every tribe, language, people, and nation
Don't harden your heart, He loves you as part of His creation

It is a disturbing thing to think about ... what would drive someone to such atrocities. When people make their own gods, perhaps that's when all hell breaks lose. Good topic to discuss, and it feels like you've said all you wanted to say ... well written.
