I Wish You

I wish you peace for all life events
that occur without a happy ending.
I wish you the comfort in solitude
that peace provides.
I wish you prayer to sustain your hope
within the darkness.
I wish you happiness,
which will not come immediately,
But which will come in time.
I wish you appreciation,
when the work load is too tough.
I wish you faith to know that everything
happens for a reason;
even when fathomless
as to what that reason may be.
I wish you the caring of friendship,
to wrap around you like a warm blanket
on a long cold night.
