I Wish I Knew You When I Was Young

I wish I knew you when I was young

I wish I knew you when I was young
The courage to take a chance in my life unsung
Without wondering what would happen and when
Leaping ahead without first counting to ten

How very different my life would be
The unwinding road with no limits to see
With the heavens up above and its guiding light
The courage to lead the way in the darkest night

Courage – I wish i knew you when I was young
A chance to change this life unsung.
I wonder if perhaps it’s not too late
To master courage and alter my fate.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

This is beautiful Judy... I always count to ten...When in doubt...Even when I plunge into the situation...I keep counting... All the best
