I Wish I Had Told Her

Should I say it?
A dream I have recalled,
More times than I can count,
A dream that never gave birth to reality.

A dream of a sea of stars
And their reflections in the lake,
The wind will play with her hair,
She smiles, as our eyes meet.

But she shall venture far,
Maybe it's our last meet,
Maybe I am the only face the lake sees,
Maybe the only one in that fateful scene.

I wish I had told her,
I wish she had known me,
But I have nothing but to wait
As love never sleeps.......
