I Wish

I wish I could just explain I wish I remembered everything I wish time stopped I wish I had a plan I wish everybody could get along I wish I weren’t limited I wish fear didn’t bother me I wish half the things mattered I wish it didn’t get worse I wish I knew how to tell you

Nice to meet you, Savannah, and to read your poem. If poetry, i.e., what we write, could make wishes come true… We poets have wished for that many times. There’s power in the written word though!
