I Will Not Bow Down
I
will not
bow down to
the gods of greed
who want my freedom,
who demand a rich tithe
from my meagre livelihood,
devalue worthiness with gold,
its priests say give more abundantly
while assessing my worth by my money.
-OR-
I
will not
bow down to
the gods of greed
who want my freedom,
who demand a rich tithe
from my meagre livelihood,
devalue worthiness with gold,
its priests say give more abundantly
while assessing my worth by my money.
