I Will Never Stop Writing

I need my pen more than I ever did before
Tightly I will hold it, never losing the grip
Darkness have befallen me, and left me in shreds
But I still have some air breathing through, that keeps my pen alive
Sometimes you need pain, to appreciate the painless days
Sometimes you need pain, to learn to live
Some mornings may start with shame and regret
Some afternoons, the mind may be in a race
Some evenings, problems may come in bulk, sticking around more than expected
Some nights, cries of defeat maybe your only treat

More than I ever did before, am thankful that I can write
