I Will Minister
I will minister to my neighbor
I am the Lord’s instrument to minister to my neighbor
I will succor them that stand in need of my succor
Help me O Lord to serve my neighbor
I shall give love to those in need
I will show that love by word and deed
O Lord, I will love my brother
I will speak kind words to my brother
I will wipe away my neighbor’s tears
I will awake my neighbor to good cheers
I will cheer up the sad
And make him feel glad
Help me O Lord, to speak gentle words to the heart filled with anger
I will administer my substances to those in need
I will pray for those in need
I will seek the wandering sheep
Father, give me love that is deep
That I may rescue the wandered sheep
I am a Shepherd to the Lord’s flock
I will feed his flocks
I will be diligent to know the State of my flocks
And look well after my herd
I will extend my ministering to the dead
And bring blessing upon my head.
O Lord, I will minister as thou hast
Thou smiled at and forgave people
Thou talked with and listened to people
Thou walked with and made time for people
Thou encouraged and fed people
Thou taught and served people
Thou invited and reached out to people
Oh, thou art set example for me to follow
Thou want me to grow
I will allow thy love in me to glow
O Lord, keep my heart aglow
I will help thine kingdom to grow
I will help others to grow
O Lord let the Spirit of Elijah flow
Let the desire to seek for my ancestors grow
Let the desire to help them grow
O Lord, I will minister as thou hast ministered
I will minister with all my heart.
