I Will Build Our Escape For You
I have a dream to hang up to the moon,
In order to prove that my love is true,
An act so powerful it’ll make you swoon,
And soon you’ll fall to your doom.
For when I set the stars in place,
I’ll set them in stone with a ballerina’s grace,
A permanent change unable to replace,
For you I built our outer space.
In our own galaxy we will be everlasting,
No longer in need of a place we’re grasping,
For when we leave by finally passing,
You are set on staying despite the universe’s asking.
