Notes About The Poem

I Will Be Where You Are

Season's change is a paradigm
With rose hip seeds flying astray
In the dusting of the Springtime
Sweet scented thoughts of yesterday

Winter days gone with gray and gloom
Gardens filled with buddings that thrive
Bold hued flowers burst into bloom
and my memories come alive

Moments that sparked love in my heart
I cherish what they mean to me
Always on my mind; in each thought
Where you are, is where I will be

Spring revives worthiness of life
Renewing vows as man and wife

Such is needed in Spring. A scattering of love in our gardens coupled with love between husband and wife. Terrific sonnet.

A difficult prompt to tackle Lin, love the analogous reflection within your sonnet, indeed success needs much balance in nature, as it does in marriage, all the best in contest, cheers David

Thanks, David. I really liked the quote but wanted to take it somewhere off the well-beaten path. Many thanks for your supportive thoughts and cheers!
