I watch

I watch the rain drip,
I watch the rain plop,
I watch the rain pour,
I watch the rain stop,

I watch the flowers grow,
I watch the flowers sigh,
I watch the flowers reach,
I watch the flowers die,

I watch the insects hop,
I watch the insects crawl,
I watch the insects scurry,
I watch the insects fall,

I watch the people talk,
I watch the people shop,
I watch the people laugh,
I watch the people drop,

They watch the mirrors reflection,
They watch the mirrors beauty,
They watch the mirrors flaw,
They forget their own duty,

I watch my friends laugh,
I watch my friends face,
I watch my friends smile,
I keep up with my friends pace.
