I Was Certain

You said “Come!”
My knees were trembling then
And I came close to you.
My eyes searched sincerity;
I was certain there was.
You said “Come!”
You were in need then
And I came close to you.
My eyes searched satisfaction;
I was certain there was.
You didn’t said “Come!”
My ears waited a lifetime then
And I walked way from you.
I knew the truth;
I was so certain I knew.
