I Wanted To Hate You

All I thought of,
After you broke my heart,
After you made me cry,
I just wanted revenge!
I wanted to hurt you,
Physically and emotionally.
I wanted to hate you,
Every single day,
I wanted to break you,
Because you broke me.
I know now,
I can’t hate you,
I can’t hurt you,
Because you’re not worth it,
You’re not worth the suffering.
I may have wanted to punish you,
And make you feel the pain,
That you made me feel,
When you left me,
But that will never happen…
