'i Want You To Listen'
Motivation, dedication, inspiration and ambition
Those are the four things that will help aide you on your mission
I want you to listen to what I have to say
If you decide to attack your illness it will run away
Depression is a coward
It's like grapes that are sour
You go toe to toe with it, you will take its power
Dominate all day every day, every second, minute, hour
When you turn your life around, you'll blossom like a flower
When tackling depression, be a meteor shower
My duty in life is to lift my peers higher
Warm feeling in my stomach, I've got a belly full of fire
To inspire my fellow warriors, this is the reason I write
Boxing match against your illness, give it an overhand right
The bell has just sound, we're in the twelfth round
You've just hit your illness on the jaw and it has fell to the ground
You have knocked your illness out
It has just had a ten count
How does it feel to be victorious
I am guessing that it feels extremely glorious
You've laid a marker down, your illness now fears for its safety
It has gone missing, it's disappearance was so hasty
Your depressions hurt you in the past, don't let it get away with it
It's future is now in your hands, you'll have the final say in it
My pen is a weapon, it's mightier than the sword
If you fight back against depression, you will earn a reward
You're almost there, to quit now is the one thing you can't afford
You've just made it to the mental battlefield, welcome aboard
