I Want To Remember This
You’re asleep next to me right now
Drunk after only 4 tallboys
While a 6 pack and 2 tallboys has me Barely buzzed.
I don’t know if you remember,
But I tucked you in
Put on some cartoons
And caressed you
Until you
Fell asleep.
You’re snoring
But every time
Your breathing lulls
I pull you close
Until
The snoring starts
Again.
Some may find it annoying,
But I know
It just means
You’re ok with me.
