I Want To Be Yours
I want to be....
Your rose without a single thorn,
Your rainbow without a summer storm,
Your oyster, which contains a pearl,
Yet nobody is perfect, and I'm just a girl,
I promise I will do my very best,
To love you better than all the rest.
I want to be....
One half of our unbroken heart,
Your new beginning for love to start,
Your laughter that never ends,
Your arrow that Cupid sends,
The key that unlocks your heart,
The one with whom you never part.
I want to be....
Your sunshine without a cloudy day,
Your moonlight there to light your way,
Your music to the lyrics of a song,
A love you've longed for, for so long,
Your inspiration I want to be,
For your words of divine poetry.
