I Want To Be a Morning Person 2

So I tried to be a morning person
And made a plan to meet for certain

But overnight my phone stopped working
With all my alarms inside not turning

And there’s no way my body can count
So I could not get up, you laugh but no doubt

When I finally awoke at one hour late
My friend was no longer at the meeting place

I’m still trying to get the morning thing right
Really I should be in bed early at night

I’d say call me first, let this be a warning
If you’re meeting me any time in the morning

I can relate, C. A., totally. I am a night person, going to bed around 1 or 2, then getting up in the morning between 9:30 and 10:00am. I don't want to hear from anyone before then!!! Every person has their own inner-built rhythm. Mine works for me; yours works for you! All's good!

My internal clock wakes me at 7:30 but still too late for a sunrise! And you will find me burning the midnight oil on a regular basis but alas I can not sleep late due to my 9-5. Thanks for stopping by, C. A.
