I Want Her To Comfort Me, But She's Gone

I guess what I was trying to say to you,
The person I want to comfort me, is gone,
She was my favourite to come home to,
She enjoyed games in which I often won.

I just need to return to my new home,
Where I wait for the real lover I searched for,
Where there's no dogs so I can freely roam,
Where I have friends so life's not a bore.

I love you all, but I feel so lost without her,
I know she was also yours in her own roles.
But to me, she was better than my mother.
She and I somehow fit the same boot soles.

I may return to be here for my father's health,
But for now I value love and my wellbeing more
Than working to earn any amount of wealth,
More than mourning as I do her every chore.
