I Walk Away

I walk away when times begin too weigh heavily upon my shoulders I turn a cold eye even when those I love cry and pretend the guilt that follows me is nothing more than a dream If God would curse me and the devil welcome me then I'll bear the consequence of cowardice that plague my every day But I'll still always walk away My soul wears away every time you ask me to stay peace was all I asked for but pain was all that came its no trouble for me to just walk away
