I Wake Up

every day seeking to
escape & break this
circumference of reason
inspired by wind-blown
cycles of the season
to grow up, branch out
root down deep
into imaginative realities
in dreams of sleep and
wakeful thoughts of
death's next life, expected strife,
striving towards the end,
the goal, the sun
setting on my dreams
to rise on my life,
going everywhere touching everything
with light shining rays bring me back
to days lived & passed by &
things already seen but not
not yet with my eye
