I Tumble In the Waves

there's something inside the infrared rise of sun across the span of ocean that stirs within outbursts of mind lash against the sands of time that swallowed you in the tides of yesteryear leaving me to wander alone across the shores of life unguarded from storms i still taste the salty spray in your absence, enraged i walk alone

Sandra, I love that you channel your emotions into beautiful poetry. The sufferings and loss you have experienced have been polished into a deep capacity for compassion. Words (or art, in general) diffuse that sharp pain and allow others (readers) to know they are not alone. Bless you in your journey and thank you for allowing us to walk it with you. My hugs and best wishes to you today ~ John

I love the metaphors in this reflective piece Sandra. When death snatches away a loved one emotions run high. This is so emotive of that pain that expresses itself as anger. Superb insight in your wonderful poem Sandra. : )xoxo

Sometimes we have to muster our courage and stand tall, no matter what comes. Beautifully penned.

i think strength comes in the courage, though distance may be greater than we stand, we still try to stand as tall as we can regardless.... hugs :)

There is a determination in this poem that says "I am okay, I can face the storms."

You certainly are spending a lot of time walking on the sand near the ocean. Intriguing writes, all of them. :) gw

Thank you John....i have to ask my muse where that came from, she is on a sea theme now instead of the mountains...i adore nature though, so love the inspiration within it :) hugs
