I Try To Find Peace
I try to find peace so I look to the sky,
I spread my wings with hope I can fly.
I watch the bids and wonder why not me,
There’s so much in life I simply don’t see.
I see things go as it puts me at ease,
When I want something I try to say please.
I want so much, to feel peace in my heart,
When you become lost, it’s hard to see the start.
So I start by putting one foot before the other,
I don’t worry too much I soon will discover.
That much that you learn you already knew,
You are defined by all the things that you do.
As the sun sets, clouds spread across the sky,
The first thing you must do is decide to try.
As the sun sinks, falls behind the hill,
I try to find peace within my free will.
