I Try

I try so hard
but I can never seem to get anywhere.
I try in school,
but I find myself slipping
I try ay home,
but something always goes wrong
I try in sports
but I  can not keep up
I try in everything,
but I find I can not run
and I can not hide.
from the fact that
it will go to waste.
I can succeed,
but first
I must leave almost everything behind.
everything and everyone that stresses
and angers me.
my dad, Daphanie, my enemies, my failures,
but most importantly myself.
to succeed I must let go,
I must let go of myself
and hold on to others as a bond
and as a trust
