I Try

I try to br the best that I can be
I try to make my grades better than a C
I try to become mature in every way
I try to learn from my mistakes day after day
I try to show respect to others to be polite
I try to solve problems without getting in a fight
I try to be that girl that my real mom never knew
I try to make myself happy when I'm feelin blue
I try to work hard; I try to reach for the sky
I try to get good grades; my destination level is high
I try to stick to my friends like glue
I try to stay away from doing things I shouldn't do
I try to be a role model, be somebody's inspiration
I try to be creative and use my imagination
I try to be there for others and give them advice
I try to accept the thoughts of others and be nice
I try to let others know the right path to walk
I try to be there for them if they need to talk
I try to reach my destination; I want to make it far
I try to succeed in life; I want to be my Mommy's Lil' Star
