I Tried

they must of been hiding 
because when i met you
i told my self 
i will not fall in love

i tried not to 
stare into them 
beautiful eyez
but i was told 
eye contact is major
in conversation

i tried not to 
answer my phone when you 
called 
cause my feeling 
was errupting like 
a volcano
 
i tried not to 
fall but the ground 
was tooking right from under me

look at me 
a wreck because 
i'm not what you want 
and you are everything i need

i tried not to carryon 
about you when ask 
was there someone special in my life

now look at me 
tears in my eyez
pain in my stride
\cleaning dishes 
vacuming trying to 
hide the hurt 
but i was denied

i'm just a sad case 
of love!
