I Took the Sun For Granted

~ I took the sun for granted, when I saw it in your eyes For nothing was more magical on any dawning skies Reflections filled with wonder, tinted shades of sapphire blue A captivating vision, so enchanted was my view For even when it’s cloudy, chilly rains fall from above The heavens hold the wishes of your never ending love I took the sun for granted, now no need for its display Your beauty is my sunrise, every morning, every day ~

I thought I had read this one, but, looks like it escaped me somehow, anyway...I can see why Lin was inspired, her poem led me here, what a beauty Chris!

"Your beauty is my sunrise..." there are so many thoughts whirling in my head, given rise as the sun does each morning. From my darkness, she offers light. Or, my day can only begin when I look into her eyes. I'd better stop there or I'll start writing, founded on your inspiring verses. Wistful this morning.
