I told the sun – for Darren White
I told the sun
who told the sky
who told the clouds
and made them cry
the rain drops told
a bumble bee
who told a rose
who told a tree
the tree then told
a butterfly
who told a bluebird
flying high
who told the stars
who told the moon
Now we all say
please get well soon
