I Think I Know

“I think I know why the ocean flows”
obeying the lunar call
and where in the cold the robin goes
by the end of fall.

I think I know why time does fly
when you are having fun
and also, why it drags on by
when you’re the only one.

I think I know why poets pen
their lyrical sweet rhymes,
with the gift endowing them
to beautify the times.

I think I know how people feel
when they obtain their dreams.
What they wanted is now real,
not fantasy it seems.

I think I know what life’s about
and truly what it’s not.
I’ve been here and I’ve found out
be glad for what you’ve got.

A deep and profound take on the line from Vijay.. This line seem to have inspired so many... We should be glad of what we have... there are so many who have less... Congratulations on your placement in the contest..
