I Swear
From 'The Girl at the Rest Stop.'
I Swear
by Els Worth
I swear when I’m mad,
I swear when I’m glad.
I swear when I’m angry,
And I’ll swear when I’m hungry.
I swear when I’m late,
I swear to be great.
I swear in sorrow,
And I’ll swear for tomorrow.
I swear on the road,
I swear under load.
I swear loud and clear,
And I’ll swear for a beer.
I swear when I weep,
I swear in my sleep
I swear when I’m brave
And I’ll probably swear
. . . in my grave.
I swear when I run,
I swear when it’s fun
I swear when I’m a winna’
Please stop swearing . . .
Brynna!
