I Still Wonder

I wonder why we are dying to live, When we are all living to die. I wonder why we are trying see, When there is absolutely nothing in sight. I wonder why we are trying to give, When no one is ready to receive. I wonder why we are dying to fight, When we are all fighting to be defeated. I wonder why we are craving to love, When all they will do is to hate. I wonder why we are flying abroad, When many of our people over there are prisoners and well fed slaves. I wonder the essence of religion and politics, When the end products are intolerance and conflict. I wonder the gap between the rich and the poor, When at the end both would be committed to the Mother Earth. Even deep in my heart hear, I still wonder.
