I Skipped A Stone

I skipped a stone across a pond It skipped and skipped and then went down – I blew a kiss into the air It seemed as if to go nowhere – The stone I skipped, the kiss I blew Both vanished quickly from my view Yet in my mind I still can see The ripples that the stone set free And truth be known the kiss I blew, I hoped would find its way to you, And like a wish upon a star Its aim was true – for here you are –
