I Show Who I Am
My back is seen running away from the naysayers.
I doubt they have ever seen my front, not that I care.
Family whiners get to see me from the back also.
I might be running even faster from them.
My encouraging face is reserved for the upbeats.
The positives.
The possibility thinkers.
I reserve smiles for them also. Big ones.
I am invisible to those I do not admire.
Getting farther and farther away,
even when we are in the same proximity.
I pull myself out and slither into a quiet small space.
With my friends, whom I trust, and there are only seven.
I am outrageous, loud, wildly me.
But if they violate that trust, then there will be only six.
